Hon. Secretary Wendel E. Avisado of the Department of Budget and Management, together with Villaraza & Angangco ("V&A Law") Lawyers Maria Concepcion P. Simundac, Paul Rodulfo B. Imperial, Jose Florinio Y. Farcon, and Efren II R. Resurreccion joined the recently concluded European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines Doing Business with the Government Forum Series: Engaging in Government Procurement webinar, as speakers and legal experts.

 

With the aim to support interest in exploring business opportunities with the Philippine Government, the webinar provided an overview of Government Procurement in the Philippines, and discussed: (1) Philippine Government's efforts as regards procurement projects in the country; (2) Government Procurement process and cycle pursuant to RA 9184; (3) Procurement under the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act; and (4) Government Procurement Opportunities.
