Atty. Leah Glenda J. Quesada, a Partner in the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, is an experienced trial attorney whose practice focuses on commercial disputes, white collar crimes, and family law litigation.
As a commercial litigation lawyer, Leah has represented clients who need a highly-skilled commercial attorney to creatively and aggressively represent them in disputes arising from corporate ownership conflicts and domestic and cross-border commercial transactions, including boardroom battles, tax assessment controversies, and government franchise-related disputes. She has also successfully handled the prosecution and defense of white collar crimes, mainly those arising from fraud and large-scale corporate theft. Leah has counseled and defended captains of industry, CEOs, multinational corporations, real estate corporations, domestic and foreign telecommunications companies, international aviation firms, and commodity importers.
Leah also has broad experience in family law litigation, particularly in complex marital dissolutions of high net worth estates, dissolutions of marital ties between Filipino citizens and foreign spouses involving cross-border litigation, and enforcement of spousal and child support orders. She is experienced in navigating paternity and child custody disputes, litigating cases arising from offenses under the law on violence against women and children, as well as in drafting, negotiating, enforcing and defending against prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Leah obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2006, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Development Studies from the same university. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2007.
