V&A Corporate and Commercial Law Department Goes to Italy

The lawyers of the Villaraza and Angangco Corporate and Commercial Law Department took a seven-day private tour in the historic places of Italy, specifically in cities of Bologna, Florence, Siena, and Venice, and the towns of Montancino Montepulciano, and San Gimigniano. The Firm stayed in one of the famous wine estates in the country, the Villa Medicea di Liliano owned by the Medici family. The Medici family was one of the most powerful and influential groups in Florence, Italy, finding their success in the business of commerce and banking.

Throughout the trip, the Firm participated in walking tours, to learn the history and admire the old yet sturdy streets and historic buildings found in the tourist hotspots in Italy. This includes appreciating the famous sculpture, David of Michelangelo, as well as several unfinished works, and riding the well-known Gondola around the populated streets of Venice. The Firm also enjoyed several wine tasting events, and understanding the tedious and long process of making Chianti and Brunello wines.
