Published on 11 January 2024, the article provides a comprehensive overview of the Philippine government’s recent legislative effort to regulate commercial activities conducted through the internet. The article tackles the scope of the newly-minted regulation, the jurisdiction of the designated regulatory authority, as well as the rights, obligations and liabilities of parties to online transactions.
