V&A Law Hosts Start2 Group and German Embassy's "Balancing Act: AI and Climate"

Last February 27, Villaraza & Angangco hosted the forum “Balancing Act: AI and Climate,” which was organized by the Start2 Group in partnership with the German Embassy. The event, which was held at V&A’s Rainmaker’s Lounge, was conducted as part of the celebration of 70 years of diplomatic ties between the Philippines and Germany.

V&A Managing Partner, Sylvette Tankiang, delivered the welcome remarks for the event. German Ambassador to the Philippines, Dr. Andreas Michael Pfaffernoschke also graced the event.

The event convened key individuals and experts from various sectors to explore the critical intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and Climate Action. The panelists include Dr. Leonila Baluyut of the Department of Trade & Industry, Dr David Klebs of the German Embassy, Dr. Adrienne Heinrich of Aboitiz Data Innovation, Dr. John Noel Victorino of SolX Technologies, Mr. Alewijn Aidan Ong of the National Development Company, and Ms. Linda Nguyen Schindler of the Start2 Group.

V&A Partners Kristin Charisse Siao and Richard Henrick Beltran led the coordination with the Start2 Group and the German Embassy in organizing the event.
